Branding Statement: Gear Garage creates a platform to connect people in the Cleveland area in buying and selling used menswear and accessories in an economical, sustainable, and unique capacity.
Audience: Men in the Millennial and Gen-Z demographic participating or interested in the reselling market.
LOGO & BRAND IDENTITY
Concept: Explore imagery associated with a mechanical gear, an aesthetic reminiscent of Cleveland’s industrial past with associations to traditional masculinity, while incorporating an updated modern look and feel to reflect contemporary values.

The industrial inspired logo harkens to the city’s past and reflects both traditional masculinity and contemporary values. The circular shape and movement associated with the interlocking gears communicates connectivity and represents recycling, tying in the concept of sustainability. The use of texture throughout the brand provides a unique and authentic look and feel. When paired with the darker, subdued tones of the color palette, it depicts the brand as approachable and resonates with the target audience’s economically savvy outlook.

Objective: Create landing pages for each main section of the website.
Incorporating large photographs provide a quick sense of what the brand offers. The addition of the splatter texture adds a unique element to an otherwise clean, geometric design.
